FAQs

Orders and production

Custom belts are made to order. The usual timeframe is 30-50 days from ordering, but this is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion, dispatch or delivery date.

You will receive updates as your belt moves through production. Busy periods, design complexity, material availability, freight and other production factors can extend the timeframe.

Production updates and dispatch tracking are separate. A Shopify order that is still unfulfilled has not received dispatch tracking in Shopify, but that status does not show where a custom belt is within production.

Check your email and spam folder for Anvil updates. If you need an order-specific check, use the order support form and include your order number plus the name or email used at checkout.

Tracking is provided after dispatch. Production updates are not tracking events, and a tracking number should not be used as evidence of an earlier production stage.

Use the carrier link in the dispatch email. If tracking is missing or does not match the parcel movement, submit the order number and tracking number through the order support form.

Contact Anvil as soon as possible with the order number and the exact change requested. A change may be possible before processing or production reaches the affected step, but it is not guaranteed.

Do not place a second order to correct the first unless Anvil asks you to do so.

Contact Anvil immediately with your order number, the address entered and the corrected address. Address changes are not guaranteed after processing or dispatch, and Anvil will confirm what can still be changed.

Belts, sizing and artwork

Measure around your navel where the belt will sit, over a light layer of clothing. Do not use your pants size. Take the measurement more than once and check the size guide on the product page before ordering.

Your selected measurement should sit near the middle of the belt holes so there is adjustment room on either side. Contact us before ordering if you are between measurements or expect a significant bodyweight change.

Use the current belt guide as the starting point.

  • A training belt is the more flexible option for mixed strength training and general gym work.
  • A lever power belt provides a firm, repeatable setup for heavy strength training.
  • A buckle power belt provides a traditional fit with easier small adjustments.
  • A 13mm belt is very stiff and is generally suitable only for experienced lifters who already know they want that thickness.

Standard colours, text and product options can be selected through the current builder. For custom artwork or a logo, use the design and artwork form and provide the clearest source file available, the intended placement, colours and the relevant product.

Vector files such as SVG, EPS or print-ready PDF are preferred. A high-resolution PNG may also be suitable. Artwork, technique, colour, placement, price and production suitability require review before they are confirmed. We may ask for evidence that you have permission to use third-party artwork or logos.

The artwork is checked for suitability before production. We may need a clearer file, a simplified version or different placement. A mock-up or approval step is not complete until Anvil has recorded the approval for the current order.

Do not treat a historical mock-up or a previous order as approval for a new order.

Lever hardware becomes more secure when outward pressure is applied while the belt is being worn. It may not stay latched when the belt is off and there is no outward pressure.

If the lever opens while the belt is being worn, is damaged, has loose hardware or behaves differently from normal operation, stop using it and submit photos through the fault support path.

Competition rules vary. Check the current rulebook and approved-equipment requirements for your federation before ordering. Anvil cannot guarantee that a design or belt will be approved for a particular event.

Shipping, checkout and support

Current shipping availability and price are shown at checkout for the selected destination and order. Contact Anvil before ordering if checkout does not offer your location or if international delivery needs confirmation.

Refresh the page and try a current browser on another device. If the problem continues, send the page URL, product, device, browser, a screenshot and the step where the issue occurred.

Do not retry payment repeatedly when the result is unclear. First check whether an order confirmation or payment record was created.

An order confirmation is normally sent after a successful order. Check the checkout email and spam folder. If it is missing, contact Anvil with the checkout name or email and any payment reference so the current order record can be checked.

Stop using the item if continued use could make the issue worse. Use the fault and warranty form with your order number, a full-item photo, close-up photos of the affected area, a description of the issue and when it first appeared.

Do not repair, dispose of or return the item until Anvil has reviewed the evidence and provided the next step. The evidence is assessed before a repair, replacement, remake, refund or other outcome is decided.

Contact Anvil before returning anything. Include the order number, the issue and supporting photos where relevant. Anvil will review the current order, product evidence, applicable policy and Australian Consumer Law requirements before confirming the next step.

Custom products and fault claims require individual review. No return, repair, replacement, remake or refund is approved until Anvil confirms it.

Bulk and gym enquiries are reviewed individually. Provide the product type, quantity, size mix, artwork needs, delivery postcode and required date. The required date is for planning only and is not accepted as a deadline until Anvil confirms it.
